In the last two weeks, I visited Bar a Boo several times. Each time discovering the extraordinary flavors of the served dishes (desserts: brownie, dessert in a jar, cheesecake, chocolate cake; appetizers: bruschetta, pizzas, teriyaki chicken burger, huge pork chop, salad with haloumi cheese). Here you order food yourself 'at the bar', but fortunately, the staff brings it to your table, and it happens quite efficiently. Everything is beautifully presented, tasty, and reasonably priced.nDue to the proximity of neighboring tables, it can be a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a while, and it doesn't pose a problem (at least in my case).nI recommend!
The venue is large and quite atmospheric. Friendly and helpful staff. Despite the large crowd, we received our orders in 10 minutes (we were warned that the waiting time is a minimum of half an hour). That's all the positives, the food was terrible - very average pizza, the oils on the table were old and rancid, and the chicken was completely inedible - I actually recommend ordering the pappardelle freschi e pollo without pollo (it's possible, and the dish costs 2 zloty less). The garlic in the pasta was half-raw again.
The venue, atmosphere, and waiters were not bad, but the food was a disaster. The brownie tasted like cocoa mixed with water and was so dry that it crumbled with every bite. The Butcher Burger had so many gristles and sinews in the meat that my boyfriend had to keep pulling them out of his teeth until the end of the meal. Shrimp - 37 zl for such a small portion is a bit excessive. I used to love Bar a Boo, but it has definitely gone downhill. The only thing I have to give credit for is the presentation - aesthetic and very pleasing to the eye.
The pizza was good but not the best.nI am a huge fan of brownie, but this one... was very average. However, the presentation and the rest of the additions were great. The service is nice, the ambiance is excellent, and the decor is lovely.
A very nice venue with a large outdoor garden, I had a good meal here without spending a fortune, the service was pleasant and very quick, the waiting time was 10 minutes with average occupancy in the hall, the dishes were delicious, well seasoned, with large portions, a slight downside for the sautéed cabbage but everything else was great, I highly recommend
A fantastic place close to Malta.nThe salad with grilled goat cheese is the tastiest salad I have had so far. Congratulations on this wonderful composition of flavors, cheese with honey and nuts is a flavor bomb, the orange and sauce complete the 100/10 combination.nPasta with Renzenta - delicious ham in the perfect sauce with cheese complements.nCappuccino - kudos for the option of plant-based milk the wonderful combination with almond milk makes the cappuccino taste like the most exquisite Italian coffee.nService - smiling young people, very helpful and polite.nNot a pizza lover - but I will definitely return, the oven and the aroma of pizza at the neighboring tables invite for tasting.nFantastic restaurant
I love it!!! Normally I don't write reviews, but after yesterday I have to. We visit Bar a Boo at least once a week, but that pizza from yesterday… AMAZING seriously. I always eat the same one XD but that one yesterday amazed me, I can't stop thinking about it.n#lovenPlease greet the pizza makers who made it<3!
I give three stars due to the place where I had to sit. The food was very good, served quickly with no complaints. The lemonade was nothing but sweetened water. But this can be overlooked. The two-person table is a total disaster upstairs. If a man is larger in stature, they need to be careful eating, because it's so tight that they might lose their teeth passing by the table. Very uncomfortable. But I understand, this is a place meant to maximize number of guests, not customer comfort. Really, did you have to force those tables on top of each other? Total disaster. If booking, only for a minimum of 4 people. So you can sit normally, like a human, instead of being squashed like chicken.
Interesting place with nice decor. Tables are very close together. A nice place to start the evening. However, definitely too noisy for a family dinner. The food is delicious and served quickly.
Pizza is pizza, good ingredients, but the overall experience was not exceptional, just decent. The venue has interesting decor, where you can observe the entire pizza-making process from the upper floor. There were a lot of people, and since pizza is being made simultaneously for customers who order by phone, the waiting time was about 50 minutes. To place an order, you need to approach the bored young lady at the register yourself and pay immediately. Then you wait your 50 minutes for the pizza. Drinks and dishes are served to the table. Cleaning up after guests was also not at the highest level, leftovers sat on the tables for quite a while. The venue lacks air conditioning, which made it simply unbearable inside. After going outside where it was 25 degrees, we breathed a sigh of relief. Overall, apart from the interesting decor, the place is just an ordinary pizzeria.
