Once, milk bars were known for good food and low prices.nnUnfortunately, in this one, there is neither.nnThe soup (zurek) turned out to be tasteless krupnik in an overwhelming quantity, so you wouldn't need to walk.nnThe potatoes were partially mushy and extremely salty.nnThe schabowy was okay, but the breading was coming off.nnThe price is 30 PLN. For this price, you could eat somewhere like Thai Panda where you get a much larger portion and better taste.nnI asked for a bag. The woman responded in a loud commanding tone, 'ZŁOTKĘ!!' It was strange, I felt like I was trying to steal something.nnI definitely won't be back.
In my opinion, it's not a milk bar, but a regular pub/bar serving lunches. The prices are definitely far from those of a milk bar. The food is tasty, but it depends on what you get. I ordered leniwe - very tasty but not enough for an adult. I also bought the dish of the day: zurek + roast with potatoes and cabbage. Both dishes were tasty, although the zurek was measured and poured literally to the milliliter, which surprised me a bit. In total, everything cost 50 PLN. Quite a lot, considering the location and the portion sizes, which are quite small. Everything was taken to go.
I don't know who prepares the food, but it seems to lack flavor... The pierogi were so salty that they only became edible after drowning them in a whole container of yogurt. For this price, it's underwhelming, first and last time.
A disaster. The woman behind the counter is clueless. She mixes up orders, and you have to ask for everything. The food is soaked in grease and oversalted. I don't recommend it; it's a waste of time and money.
It's a shame that milk bars are fading away, but they are the only places where you can eat a true Polish dinner :)
The flavors of my childhood. It may not be the cheapest, but it is very tasty. Fans of milk bars will not be disappointed.
Honestly, it was a disaster—herring in sour cream tasted like eating pure salt, inedible potatoes were fine, my daughter received a breaded fillet instead of schabowy ‍♀️ plus the tomato soup was just water and concentrate reheated in the microwave... the smell in the place was slightly off-putting. Honestly, we won't return. We often eat in places but this was the worst of the worst... I'm sorry.
Once it was cheaper and tastier. Now for example, leniwe dumplings are not only expensive (one dumpling costs over a zloty ), but also without any toppings (sour cream, preserves - like it used to be!). A milk bar should be cheap. Also, it would be nice to have plastic utensils. I find it a bit disgusting thinking how many people have used those utensils already... Many older people come there. Poor atmosphere for kids. Once there, at least there were chairs and drawing pads.
Milk bar only in name. Prices too high compared to the quality of the food.
The food is of excellent quality, large portions, but the price may be a concern. For a cutlet, cucumber soup, and pancakes with apples, one can pay even 40 PLN! However, 350 grams of soup for 8 PLN makes up for it. One of the best milk bars I have been to.
