So:nnI was with my barely two-year-old child in Poznań. While waiting for the train, I decided to buy something to eat for my child.nnI glanced at the displayed food, stood at the end of the line, grabbed a plate, on which I put: one pancake, four Silesian dumplings, three potatoes, one chicken strip, a spoonful of cucumber salad, and clutched 20zł in hopes of receiving good change... In front of me, an old lady paid 48 zł for a similar plate with a drink...nnI placed the plate on the scale, and the rather overweight but nice lady behind the counter called out just under 22 zł.nnThe food was okay, but it was a portion for a 2-3 year old.nnLooking at the previous comments, one can infer that there must be some cheating going on with the weight.
The food was rather poor quality. The ribs were so burnt or dried out from sitting in the warmer that it was hard to distinguish the meat from the bones. One could have broken their teeth. The stuffed pepper was filled with meat and some low-quality cheese.
Not only do they cheat on weight, but the food is old, stale for several days, and served cold. The beans were undercooked, tragedy. The worst place I have eaten lunch.
The food is okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it - the vegetable tart, as it was labeled, one could assume it would be vegetarian, but it wasn't; it had bacon inside. I wouldn't recommend it to people on any diets, not to mention the prices are astronomical.
One star too many. My husband and I visited Marché Kitchen in Avenida. The chef is rude, the service is unfriendly, and they treat the customer badly. The plates are chipped, which is dangerous. The food is overpriced and poor quality. I would avoid it at all costs.
Beware! Very expensive, and not tasty! The tomato soup smells of artificial spices, too much salt! The Ukrainian borscht looked like dirt. The scale wasn’t set to deduct the weight of the plate. The prices and methodology of billing are not made clear. I paid 75zl for a plate of food and a soup, +1.31 for the takeaway container, +1.31 for the bag.
A typical food court Marché. Only worse. The food here is the worst I have ever had. The chicken strips turned out to be minced. WHO NORMAL MAKES MINCED STRIPS?! A strip should be a breaded tenderloin or piece of breast, elongated, fried in oil or baked, not some kofta-like mass in breadcrumbs and oil. A crime! Flavor-wise, the best were the fries. Everything else, both mine and my wife's, was tasteless. I thought the pizza would save it, but it was made on a sweet, flaky dough and was undercooked. Completely raw dough and burnt toppings, as if someone had heated it on a grill in the microwave. If it weren't for the fact that we were in a hurry, and my wife stopped me, the whole plate would have landed in the kitchen as a complaint in the style of Magda G. SHAME!nnI advise against it. There are much better restaurants nearby, like the burger place Pasibus. The worst Marché Kitchen in Poznań.nnAn appeal to the owner: send the whole team for training to King Cross Marcelin. They have held a fantastic level for years. They are definitely the best. Let them train those at Avenida, definitely...
A good choice for a quick bite when you don’t have much time.nI happened to find well-prepared dishes that positively surprised me and were quite filling.nPrice-wise, it may not be amazing, but it’s not bad.nI also remind you of the -20% discount for students, which I unfortunately wasn’t informed about.
The food was tasty, warm, and there was a great selection, even though it was already 8 PM. Additionally, the chef was still bringing out fresh food. The service was very nice. The chef was courteous. Starting at 8 PM, the 50% promotion begins. Even though I was at the cash register at 7:55 PM, the lady didn’t charge me and didn’t try to trick me into paying a higher price; she just waited until 8.
After lunch, I had vomiting, chills, weakness, food poisoning! Inexcusable! Never again! They are poisoning people with spoiled food!
